Chaffey’s Locks, Lockmaster’s House Museum

Chaffey’s Lock, Ontario is the home of the Lockmaster’s House Museum.  They are open every summer. This year they have an exhibit depicting Chaffey’s in the years around Confederation.

“Look for a display with early pictures of local individuals from 1867, a rare quilt produced by members of the Stedman and Stanton families, children’s shoes and a little girl’s costume from 1870.”  Source: Chaffey’s Lock and Area Heritage Society, 2017 Newsletter.
